“Our Trust exists to serve young people, to educate, enlighten and give them the expertise and confidence to succeed”

Why The Learning Trust?

In a world of change, bringing teachers and leaders together to shape and drive the educational ambition and operational management of a group of schools provides a powerful way to chart a successful path into the future.

We are committed to working with like-minded organisations where this offers mutual advantages. We recognise that growing our Trust can bring benefits but we reject growth for growths sake – ‘Growth with Care’, is our mantra – working with like-minded schools, underpinned by trust and mutual respect, a shared ethos and a history of being rooted in the community.

The Trust model for growth will be carefully planned, ensuring we have the capacity to meet the needs of each joiner academy without compromising our existing schools. Any new school wishing to join the Trust will be take part in a shared due diligence process, which is a carefully planned and thoroughly documented process involving a review of finance, achievement, staffing, health & safety and facilities.
